About
We are a Maryland-based visual artist duo spanning two generations, with a combined experience of over 40 years. From 2022 to 2024, we served as resident artists at the Sandy Spring Museum in Sandy Spring and are currently resident artists at the Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel.
Throughout our careers, we have explored the possibilities of fiber art and developed signature techniques, with wool becoming our primary medium. We have exhibited our work in solo and group exhibitions across Russia, Italy, and the United States, including at the Sandy Spring Museum in Maryland; the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City, Maryland; the New Hampshire Art Association in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; the Martha Spak Gallery in Washington, DC; the Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, Maryland; and Gallery 194 at the Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn Park, Maryland.
We have received awards from the Maryland State Arts Council, and our work, created through the Folklife Apprentice Program, is included in the Special Collections archive of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
We are producing exclusive collections of work and private commissions using our innovative signature technology and methods. Our works include:
